Controller Editor 1.6.2 released

Native Instruments has released version 1.6.2 of Controller Editor. The most important new feature is support of Kontrol S2 MK2, Kontrol S4 MK2, Kontrol X1 MK2, and Kontrol Z1. This update allows you to change and edit the MIDI assignment parameters of these four controllers. An important and long missing update for all users who wish to use these controllers with other MIDI capable software.

Kontrol S4 MK2 im Controller Editor

If you own a Kontrol Z1 but not Traktor Pro, you can use Controller Editor to configure the Z1 that is starts in MIDI mode once you connect the controller to your computer: Start Controller Editor while Kontrol Z1 is connected, open the Preferences window and open the Controller tab. Open the list with the devices and select Kontrol Z1. Finally activate the Start in MIDI Mode checkbox.

Other good news: With version 1.6.2 the HSB mode for the RGB led buttons works as documented.
