Bugs in Versions 2.1.1 - 2.5.0
Crackling when engaging Keylock
There are audible crackles when engaging keylock in the track decks and the remix decks.
Issue in: Traktor 2.5.0, added on May 25, 2012
Fixed in: unknown
Crackling when browsing through list of FX
There are audible crackles when browsing quickly through the effects list.
Issue in: Traktor 2.5.0, added on May 25, 2012; seems to be an older bug
Fixed in: unknown
Dragging a track to a playlist or favourite shortcut keeps target folder open
If you drag a track onto a closed playlist/favourite shortcut to drop it there, Traktor opens the playlist/folder. Once the track is dropped, Traktor keeps the folder/playlist open.
Correct behaviour (as in Traktor 2.1.3) would be, that Traktor re-opens the source folder after the drop.
Issue in: Traktor 2.5.0, added on May 25, 2012
Fixed in: unknown
Tracks cannot be dragged and dropped anymore onto an open playlist
Traktor does not let you drag and drop a track from a deck onto an open playlist. You can drop it on the name of the playlist in the browser tree, but not into the track list of the browser.
Issue in: Traktor 2.5.0, added on May 25, 2012

Traktor ignores all grid markers in track except of the first
If you have more than one grid marker in a track, Traktor ignores all other grid markers except the first. When playback reaches another grid marker,
Traktor should change the phase meter according to the new grid marker.
Issue in: Traktor 2.5.0, added on May 25, 2012
Fixed in: unknown
Switch between Fullscreen and Window Mode
If option "Switch to Fullscreen on Startup" and "Show Consistency Check on Startup" are both enabled the following will happen:
If you exit Fullscreen Mode with the corresponding button in the header to return to windowed mode, you cannot control Traktor with the mouse anymore.
Workaround: Disable one of the two option until the bug is fixed.

Naming Bugs in Mapping Commands
"Analyze Loaded Track" belongs into Track Deck menu, not Deck Common. Command can only be used for tracks, and not for remix decks.
"Add Folder to Favorites" should be "Add Track(s) to Favorites"; you can only add tracks to a favorite shortcut, and not folders.
"Advanced Panel Toggle" should be "Advanced Panel On". All toggle commands in Traktor use the postfix "On" now, and not "Toggle" anymore.

Inc and Dec non-functional for Mapping Command Cue Type
In former Traktor versions ine could change the type of the current cue point
with the mapping command Cue/Loops | Cue Type and by using either
interaction mode Inc or Dec. Traktor then iterated through the list of the
available cue point types. Currently the cue point type can only be set by using
interaction mode Direct.
Issue in: Traktor 2.1.1 - 2.5.0, added on December 7, 2011

Using the Pitch bend buttons does not disable absolute timecode mode
Up until version 2.0.3 Traktor automatically switched from absolute to relative
timecode mode when the Pitch Bend buttons on the UI or the corresponding mapping
commands were used. In version 2.1.1 and higher the deck stays in absolute mode.

Gain Knob of Loop Recorder acts as Dry/Wet (external mixing mode)
The functionality of the Dry/Wet knob in the loop recorder was changed in Traktor 2.1.1, if you are using external mixer mode. It is now labelled as Gain and shall affect the volume only (and not the ratio of the incoming/dry and the outgoing/wet signal).
The problem is that the Gain knob now behaves like a combination of Dry/Wet and Gain (see this tutorial for more information).
Workaround Make sure to set the Gain knob of the Aux Send
bus of your mixer back to 0 once the loop is recorded and before you start
playback or open the fader of the channel where the Loop Recorder audio is sent
to.

Using CUE leads to jump
If you press CUE to stop playback of a deck that is currently acting as sync master, and if you are using automatic master, and if the synchronisation mode is set to Beat Sync, the track in the deck that now becomes the Sync Master, jumps. This looks as though something is going wrong with the automatic synchronisation here.
There are two possible workarounds for this issue. You can either set the synchronisation mode to Tempo Sync or disable the automatic Sync Master selection by assigning the Master Clock as sync master.

Multi-core Support leads to high CPU Load
Several users experience a dramatically higher CPU load in version 2.1.1. Sometimes it can help to disable the multi-core support on Preferences/Audio Setup. If this does not help, you should go back to version 2.0.3.
Issue in: Traktor 2.1.1, 2.1.2 (?), 2.5.0 (?) added on October 4, 2011
Fixed in: unknown
Note for 2.1.2/2.1.3 I leave this bug in the "not fixed" section as there
are still Traktor users seeing a high CPU load in general, and some while
Multi-Core support is enabled.
Note for 2.5.0 It is still difficult to make a general
statement in regard to the higher CPU load. Traktor 2.5 users make different
experiences. Some don't see much changes, some see improvments, some see a
higher load than in previous versions. And, the Traktor versions cannot be
compared, as Traktor 2.5 and the remix decks introduced much more new
functionality, which of course needs more CPU cycles. As long as a higher CPU load does not cause any
audio problems, I would not be worried too much.
Mapping command Sample Deck | Slot Play Mode exists twice
The Sample Deck submenu of the Add In button in Controller Manager contains the Slot Play Mode command twice. This seems to be an error due to some name changes of the Sample Deck commands.
Workaround: Use the second Slot Play Mode command if you want to set the sample loaded in a slot to either Loop or One-Shot.

Drag&Drop from Preview Player to Deck broken
Up to version 2.0.3 you could drag a track from the preview player onto a deck. This is broken in version 2.1.1. There is no workaround for this problem.
Issue in: Traktor 2.1.1, added on October 21, 2011
Fixed in: Traktor 2.1.2
Timecode Support broken
Several users report that the timecode support gets broken after the update to version 2.1.1. The timecode engine does not calibrate anymore and stays in the "waiting" state.
Even though I could not reproduce this with Audio 4 DJ, Audio 8 DJ and Traktor Audio 10, this problem was added as there are many users reporting it and because I think this is really a very critical bug.
Issue in: Traktor 2.1.1, added on October 17, 2011
Fixed in: Traktor 2.1.2
Note As far as I can see the timecode calibration issues
are solved in version 2.1.2. If you still have problems with calibration and if
you use a legal copy of Traktor please send me a message. From what I know are
some, but not all, calibrations problems caused by using a cracked copy of
Traktor.
M4A Files are defective after Import in Traktor
Some M4A files get unusable after importing them in Traktor. When the file is added to the Traktor collection if can be played. Traktor cannot play the file anymore after a relaunch of Traktor.
The imported file could neither be in WinAmp and Windows Media Player. The copy I created before the Traktor import plays fine.
Issue in: Traktor 2.1.1 (Due to the user who informed me about this bug, it exists in earlier versions as well. I only tested on version 2.1.1.), added on October 13, 2011
Fixed in: Traktor 2.1.2
Note As I normally do not use M4A files
I could verify the fix with some test files only. All files that I used were
still playable in WinAmp and Windows Mediy Player after I imported them into
Traktor 2.1.2. If you still see the problem with files that were imported first
into Traktor using version 2.1.2 please send me a message.
Synchronisation via MIDI clock works worse than in previous versions
Many users report that the synchronisation via MIDI clock works worse in Traktor 2.1.1 than in earlier versions. This seems to be true as well for synchronisation Maschine and Traktor on the same systems as for MIDI clock sync of two Traktor systems.
Issue in: Traktor 2.1.1, added on October 11, 2011
Fixed in: Traktor 2.1.2
Note I verified the fix with an external MIDI clock (sent
by my Xone:92) in a setup where both Traktor and Maschine were configured as
MIDI tempo slave. The test with the external MIDI clock showed that Traktor
needs much longer (between 20 and 30 times) than Maschine untilt the BPM value
stabilizes. Maschine needed approx. one second.
The second setup I checked: Traktor and Maschine running on the same MacBook;
Traktor was tempo master and Maschine tempo slave. It looks as if this setup can
be used again without problems.
Using CUP in Instant Mode moves Phasesee
The following bug occurs if you are using Tempo Sync as synchronisation mode and if you are using CUP in instant mode to jump back to the desired start of playback position. In this workflow you would (either manually or with the Tempo Sync function of Traktor) set the tempo of the new track to the one which is currently playing.
Then you set a cue point at the position where playback shall be started and use the pitch bend buttons to correct the phase. When the beats match you use CUP to go back to the playback position.
In version 2.0.3, Traktor does not touch the phase you manually set when you press CUP. In version 2.1.1, Traktor moves the phase to a somehow random value resulting in loosing the sync.

Not all Deck Controls are reset when loading a new Track
The setting Reset all deck controls when loading new track does not reset the tempo fader to zero in 2.1.1.
The tempo fader should be reset to zero if the Sync button on the deck is Off. (If the Sync button is On, the tempo fader should be set to the tempo of the Sync Master. This is still working as it worked in Traktor 2.0.3.)
Issue in: Traktor 2.1.1, added on October 7, 2011
Fixed in: Traktor 2.1.2
Mapping Commmand Tempo Sync broken
This command has no effect in version 2.1.1.

Fixed in: Traktor 2.1.2
Sample Slots get unloaded
If you load a missing sample into a sample slot Traktor unloads and stops the playback of all other sample slots of that deck. There is no workaround available.

Switching to Fallback Device broken
Traktor does not automatically select the configured fallback device if the standard audio device is not available. This is a problem in the Windows version of Traktor.
Issue in: Traktor 2.1.1, added on October 4, 2011, updated on October 17, 2011
Fixed in: Traktor 2.1.2
Cue Play Mode setting broken for decks B-D
The Cue Play Mode setting (Preferences/Transport) is broken for all decks except of deck A. If you set this option to Instant, playback of decks B, C and D does not start until you release the CUP button.
Issue in: Traktor 2.1.1, added on October 4, 2011
Fixed in: Traktor 2.1.2
Load Loop Play is broken
