Part 3: Broadcasting in MP3 format with Traktor Kontrol S4
explains how to stream your mix in MP3 format from Traktor Kontrol S4. We will use the streaming service
Listen2MyRadio to broadcast the mix. You can adapt this tutorial to other controller/audio interface setup if you are using the internal mixing mode of Traktor.
The free tool 'butt' is used as uplink broadcaster. Butt sends the mix via
your internet connection to the streaming server of Listen2MyRadio. Your
listeners connect to this server, who will stream and distribute the audio. This
tutorial will use the Shoutcast protocol and you can easily adapt the
configuration if you use another Shoutcast server than Listen2MyRadio.
