Pro S4: Removing Crossfader/Deck Assignments

Removes all assignments between crossfader and the decks.
Preview
In Traktor Pro S4 the assigment between crossader and decks is not saved between Traktor sessions. This TSI contains a little keyboard macro (assigned to Shift+Z) that removes all assignments between the X-fader and the decks.

How to import this mapping

  • Open Preferences/Controller Manager.

  • Click the Add-button.

  • Click Import.

  • Browse to the folder where you unpacked the ZIP file.

  • Select the TSI file and open it.

After the import Traktor adds a new device into the list Device. The imported mapping will be automatically saved in your Traktor Settings file; there is no need to import it again.

Press Shift+Z and have a look at the assignment sections on the crossfader in the Traktor GUI: You will see that all deck letters are greyed out (as in the picture at the top of the screen).

Inside the mapping
The mapping uses the MIDI commands X-Fader Assign Left and X-Fader Assign Left to remove the assignments between the four decks and the two sides of the crossfader.
